We are the premier outlet for quality clinical massage in Austin, Texas. Through education and experience, we offer you a medically-based approach to dealing with the multitudes of issues that plague us all. From elite athletes to stressed-out desk jockeys to over-worked moms and everything in between—we can offer relief.
We want to make it easy for clinical massage to be incorporated into your life on a regular basis. The Austin Bodyworker provides an environment unlike any other you may have experienced.
WE ARE NOT A SPA!!
Our office environment will convey to you a clinical and professional sense that is at the same time warm and inviting. No incense, no robe or slippers—just great bodywork to get you back to your life, feeling better than before!
The goal of the Austin Bodyworker is to inform the general public of the many types and benefits of massage therapy available. We strive to educate you to understand the practicality of consistent massage treatments. Our mission is to help people understand why a preventative wellness program should be in the forefront of every individual’s health goals.
There are a variety of massage modalities available to you. It is important to us to help you understand what ‘clinical’ massage is and decide what the best treatment is for your individual needs and to guide you in the direction that will be most beneficial for you.
We employ many different types of massage from Sports/Deep Tissue, Neuromuscular, and A.R.T. (Active Release Technique), to Orthopedic and Pregnancy Massage. We will take a brief but detailed health history, talk with you about what your preferences are, and discuss what the therapist feels would benefit you the most.
With healthcare continuously evolving, we are evolving along with it. An increasing number of medical doctors and professionals are seeing massage therapy as a beneficial complement to their practices. Hospitals, orthopedic surgeons, physical therapists, chiropractors and athletic trainers are recommending massage to their patients at an ever-increasing rate.
Please call and feel free to discuss your questions and concerns with one of our therapists.
